Holyland Snowflyers March 2026 Newsletter

The March meeting will be held on Monday, March 2nd 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.

The 2026 Sno Bol Vintage show was again a huge success. Thank you to all the people who attended, the sponsors and the volunteers who donated many hours to make things happen.

Mother Nature cooperated with us and gave us a nearly perfect day to have the show. Right before the parade lap I counted 204 vintage sleds which is the highest count we have ever had.

The club would also like to thank the Town of Taycheedah for letting us use the park to celebrate the sport we all enjoy and the history of that piece of land.

At the March meeting we will be discussing the upcoming Landowners dinner.

The March Fond du Lac County Snowmobile Association meeting will be hosted by the Waupun Drift Jumpers held at the Legion Hall in Waupun on Mar 10th at 7:30 pm.

Holyland Snowflyers February 2026 Newsletter

The February meeting will be held on Monday, February 2nd 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.

If the forecast holds true it looks like we will not loose the snow we have and the 2026 Sno Bol Vintage Show will be held at Kiekhaefer Park where it belongs. Keep your fingers crossed.

At the February meeting we will be doing the final preparation for the show. If you have not done it yet, please reach out to Darrin 920-273-9601 to get yourself signed up to help the day of the show. We are always looking for help in the food and refreshment area during the lunch rush.

If you have any unsold tickets bring them to the February meeting or get them to Dean or Darrin so we can redistribute them. We have people who still want them and can get them sold.

It is not too late to ask local businesses for Bucket Raffle donations. These donations are great advertising for the business and great for the club.

This is our 'Big Day' and I believe it will be another great event and all of the credit goes to the volunteers and sponsors who donate their time and money to make it happen.

See you at the show !

Holyland Snowflyers January 2026 Newsletter

The January meeting will be held on Monday, January 5th 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.

I hope everyone was able to get a few miles on their sleds while the snow lasted. I am praying January will bring colder temps and snow so we can get trails opened again.

We will be making the final plans for the 2026 Sno Bol Vintage show at the January meeting. The show will be on Saturday Feb 7th. Our plan is to have it at Kiekhaefer Park, but mother nature has the final say on that decision. Keep an eye on our Facebook page as we get close to the 7th for location details. We have a pretty streamlined set up but in the end it all comes down to volunteers from the club and community to make it happen. Parking and concessions are the big places we need help. Please contact Darrin 273-9601 or Rob 517-0266 to get yourself signed up. All help is appreciated.

Bucket raffles at the show have been very successful. If you know a local business that you think would donate, please ask them. They will be put on the donor board and will have their names mentioned numerous times during the day by the official voice of the Holyland Snowflyers Darrin during his live broadcast on Saturday.

The January Fond du Lac Snowmobile Association meeting will be January 13th at The Party Palace in Dotyville 7:30 start.

Holyland Snowflyers December 2025 Newsletter

The December meeting will be held on Monday, December 1st 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.

Deer hunting will be ending soon and it will be time to get our trails in for the season. The weather is turning colder and we will most likely be dealing with frozen ground for leveling and pounding signs. The club did buy a cordless hammer drill for drilling into the frost and it really makes things go better.

We will have the Landowner pizzas at the December meeting we have enough freezer space for them but I would ask the Directors to get them delivered before Christmas.

The 2025 Snowmobile Safety Class is going on and I would like to thank Ben and Zach for leading this effort. Teaching the next generation to be safe and responsible is very important for the future of our sport.

The December Fond du Lac County Snowmobile Association meeting will be held at our clubhouse on Tuesday December 9th 7:30 start.

If you recently submitted a membership application, there has been a slight delay in processing. Your membership will be processed after the weekend. Thank you for your patience!

current positions. We do have some changes in our Directors. Connor
Thome is a new St Peter Director and Collin DeYoung is a new Mt Calvary
Director.

We have 3 retiring Directors this year. Terry Zimmerman, Dennis Haensgen
and Gary Stenz. All these men have been involved with the club for 30 plus
years in many different positions. They are not going away they are just
passing the Director positions down to the next generation of leaders in the
club. Dennis and Gary have spent a lot of their time in the clubhouse the last
10 years on various improvement projects we have had going on and their
efforts are much appreciated. We do have an open Director position in St
Joe right now if anyone is interested.

The silage corn is almost all been chopped and the combines are going hard in the beans. Directors should be doing a little early scouting to look at where the wheat has been put in to plan our routes for the upcoming winter.

The overhead door on the North side of the building has been installed and the catch basin that needed repair on the west side of the building has been fixed. Thank you again to all the members who have donated time for the building projects this summer.

Holyland Snowflyers September 2025 Newsletter

The September meeting will be held on Monday, September 8th, 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street, Mt. Calvary, WI.

I hope that you and your families had a safe and fun summer. I can’t believe August is almost over. At the April meeting, we looked at our financial situation and voted to spend some money on building improvements this summer, and if you have driven through Mt Calvary, you can see exactly what we did. Our building has new paint, and it looks great. In my humble opinion, I think it’s the best-looking building in town. We are waiting for the new overhead door to arrive and get installed on the north side, which should be the last major thing for the exterior project. We also had an interior project this summer, replacing the sink in the shop with a large commercial stainless sink and faucet. Thank You to all the members who have hours invested in these projects. We should be very proud of our club and the things we can accomplish.

The online membership portal on the website is open and provides a quick and easy way to renew your memberships. You can also see the other options for renewal at the bottom of this newsletter.

The first Fond du Lac County Snowmobile Association meeting of the year will be on September 9th at 2fers in Eden at 7:30 pm.

Holyland Snowflyers May 2025 Newsletter

The May meeting will be held on Monday, May 5th 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.

The Landowner Appreciation Dinner was held on April 14 and was once again well attended and went very smoothly. Thank you to all the members that were involved cleaning up the building, cooking the food, serving the food and the many other chores and tasks we need to get done to make the event a success.

The May meeting will be the last one for the season. It will be a 2024-2025 year in review meeting. We will discuss what went good and bad and talk about where we want to go moving forward. One subject that has come up is an exterior facelift of our building which will be discussed.

Thank you to all the Officers, Directors, and Members who have invested countless hours in this season. In the BIG picture we are a small group but we really do BIG things and we should be proud of our accomplishments.
